FAQ - Can I send raw printer codes before or after my prints?

Frogmore Raw Print has an option to insert raw printer codes before or after each print file.

You may use this to setup the printer before you print or reset after you have printed. Most likely this will be to change settings when printing plain text files.

The codes are entered from the Tools->Options dialog, each code is entered as a series of hex pairs. For instance to send a form-feed after the print you would enter the code 0C in the Trailer codes.

The codes will be specific to your model of printer, consult the manual for a list of potential codes.

Note if your PRN files are already formatted for a printer it is unlikely you will be able to change any of the settings, this facility is mostly for plain text files.
