No printer activity

Hello, I've tried FRP on a Canon BJC-250 (parallel printer) attached to a router (the network is composed by 3 computers) and it works well, however at home, where I have a Canon 320i (USB printer) directly connected to my personal, I'm not able to print, the message "Documents printed" pops out normally, but nothing happens.
The O.S. is XP in both cases, and of course both printers print equally well under XP applications.
Any idea or suggestion?
Thank you very much.

Julius,

Unfortunately these two printers have a different format of print stream, you aren't going to be able to use the PRN file created with one driver on the other type of printer.

Tony,

Greetings. I don't want to. I'm just trying to use FRP at home. I can't understand why in the office it works, but it doesn't when I'm at home, trying to print simple text files generated with a text editor under DOS.

Julius,

You probably need a different sort of product, our software assumes you have a print formatted file, it will only print text files if the printer supports them directly. Some of the cheaper printers don't really have any intelligence in them, all the formatting is handled on the PC.

You might want to look at Imprint from Galicrow at www.gallicrow.co.uk
