HP Printer Driver locks

Hi Tony,
My HP 712c printer driver kicks back an error message and locks up when I try to print a prn file. I must reboot to clear it. Would this be because of incompatibility with the particular type of prn file? Or should I try some other test or fix?

Well Tony, after 3 consecutive lockups and reboots yesterday, today we are printing the file, although its garbled.

Sorry - no more error message. Seems to me that my prn file must be incompatible with this printer.

my printer says error and dont do anything

It's probably a printer compatibility problem.
