FRP option to changes printing preferences

At our school we use FRP to spool PRN files that have embedded form feed characters. These files are produced by java programs and formatted assuming 132 character output. Our Dell laser printer has 2 trays, one of which holds legal size paper that we want to use for our 132 character reports. My question is: How can we use FRP, but before printing have the option of selecting what preferences(landscape and tray 2) for our output?
