Which Text Editor is best for clean ascii data ?
We use text editors to send ascii data to a printer.
Some text editors seem to throw in stuff like page breaks or something even though margins are zero and headers/footers are turned off.
Which text editor sends the cleanest ascii to the print driver?
Cheers

It's the driver which sends the page breaks and sets the margins, if you are using the generic driver you can turn some of this off in the printer properties.
Headers and footers can usually be turned off when printing, even Notepad lets you turn these off.
